Taken through our rear glass door
The White Headed Pigeon is found in Queensland down to Southern New South Wales, so we were very surprised to see this beautiful specimen here in Victoria sitting on the edge of our bird bath one morning.
It visited frequently for three days then disappeared.
We are not sure if it had been a captive bird who had escaped as we could not see if it had an identifying ring on its leg.
