These are so eye-catching. Our NZ coots are from Australia = apparently NZ's two endemic coots are now extinct

Your image is excellent David, the light was beautiful and your composition exact.
The resolution is spot on.
The image also shows us that this Coot is a survivor , it amazing how they adapt.
