The Nagoya TV tower is the oldest TV tower in Japan, and was completed in 1954. The tower is 180 metres high. In the 1992 movie of Godzilla vs Mothra, the character Battra attacks Nagoya and destroys the tower after being hit by one of the tanks' missiles.
