This gallery includes images of members of the Order Odonata, dragonflies and damselflies. Most images were taken in the state of Georgia in the southeastern United States. I usually use a Canon 300 mm f/4 lens with a 2X teleconverter mounted on a Canon 50D camera body with a Canon Twinlite for this type of photography. At times I use a 180 mm macro lens with teleconverters and/or extension tubes as the situation requires. I always employ a tripod.
