Hello Bob...Good to read about a shipmate on the USS Tench. I remember you well and a great shipmate. I always recall my time on the SS 417 as the vry best and served on the Razorback (SS 394) as the lead auxilliaryman and also on the USS Spinax (SS-489). Was also a surface skimmer on the USS Firedreake (AR-14). Still, the Tench was the very, very best and I often recall Chief Cotts, Baur and Matthews, Moose, and so many others.
