Thanks for the comments, Chris. You're just about right in guessing where 'Burbidge Tors' are. Mt Burbidge is on the other side of Mt Namadgi from Creamy Flats. It overlooks Rotten Swamp so if you're standing at Rotten Swamp with Mt Namadgi on your left and Mt Kelly to your right it's right in front of you to the SW. Interestingly Mt Burbidge isn't named on the old (pre-2002?) 1:25,000 map Rendezvous Ck but is named on the new one with the sattelite photo on the back. I didn't know what it was called until I got the new map.

We only spent a morning on Mt Burbidge, aka The Burb, but I really want to go back and explore the rocks there. I've a feeling that almost everyone walks right past it on the way to Creamy Flats or Mt Kelly.

Love the pictures. Brings back many memories of places I haven't visited in ages.

Burbidge tors? Where is that? That looks like the ridgeline that goes from the Gudgenby property (in distance) back up towards Creamy Flats and the vicinity of Mount Namadgi? Nice shots! And I last walked that area in the wake of the 1983 fires!
