These are photos I took on a four day bushwalk with friends Jonno and Tim in the south of the Australian Capital Territory in December 1999. Apart from a little peak bagging (Mt Namadgi, Mt Kelly, Mt Scabby, Mt Gudgenby) the purpose of the walk was to find a rare lake formed in a saddle and to go to the source of the Cotter River. This is a wild part of the ACT and in the four days the only sign of humans we saw were aeroplanes ie no powerlines, roads, paths, nothing. It's a great place.

All photos were taken with a Nikon FE2 and either Nikon 24mm f2.8 AIS, Nikon 35mm f1.4 AIS or Nikon 105mm f2.5 AIS.
