This little photo essay is the result of half an hour's exerimenting around an uninhabited mountain hut near the village of Linares de la Sierra, near Aracena, southern Spain.

The hut must have taken many hours to build stone by stone but has no windows, no lining under the tile roof and no fireplace of any kind. The access to the 'yard' is on the opposite side to the door.

The photos were taken within 34 minutes of each other during sunset. In the first photo the hut is lit by direct sunlight from the setting sun and the last few it is lit by the light of red clouds near the horizon.
