January 6 - A Reminder Of Man's Ability To Generate Electricity

For those not familiar with the ultra-Australian (ocka) film 'The Castle' the father of this typical suburban family loves standing in his backyard looking up at the nearby, high-voltage powerlines because "powerlines are a reminder of man's ability to generate electricity".

I really like his image because a) powerlines are a reminder of man's ability to generate electricity :-) b) it's an image of contrasts, especially between the stark, man made lines of the towers and the powerlines and the natural curves of the clouds and c) I like the dynamic angles of the two sets of powerlines leading through the image left to right and top to bottom.

LOL B and C work for me. That sky is ultra dynamic. Nicely done.
