Feria de Abril - Seville Fair 2005

These are a selection of photos from the Seville Fair (Feria de Sevilla) 2005.

The 'Feria' is the annual festival where families and friends get together to have fun. Women and girls dress up in traditional dresses, most of which are very brightly coloured and spotty. Men and boys wear suits.

There are many horses on show. Some are dressed with pom-poms, flowers and bells and many pull carriages full of feria-goers.

Many local people have a 'caseta' that they spend the week at. These are little mini homes (tents that are decorated with homely trinkets, pictures etc). It is a colourful week full of eating, drinking, music and dancing and hanging out with family and friends.

My goodness, I haven't seen that many spots ever! They sure do like the bright colours too. Thought you and Kylie could've gotten into the spirit a little - your black and navy blue effort was very poor!! Some lime green, orange and pink would've been more like it!

Hey Guys, looks like Seville is where all the fun is.
Hope those guys turned up to the Alpha course and that it went well.
Hawks had a win on the weekend and the Blues are living up to their name.
