Sunday, March 7th The Friends of Flax Pond hosted the second lecture in their 2010 Winter Lecture Series. Malcolm Bowman, SUNY Stony Brook distinguished service professor, is the moderator. Eileen Gerle, noted environmental educator from the Town of Brookhaven talked about the many exciting programs at the West Meadow Beach and Preserve.
