My wife and I decided on an ecologically positive vacation by staying at home for a week, inviting my daughter and three grandchildren to join us. We explored Long Island and one of the attractions is Sweetbriar's Butterfly House http://www.sweetbriarnc.org

These photographs were taken, hand held, using my Epson Rd-1 with a 50 mm Summericon Lens. They are sketch workup for a future project. I plan on going back on a day of less contrast and with a 100 mm macro lens and a diffuser.
