The Click Beetle is sort of interesting because once it is on it's back, it throws it's head and body back to form a sort of upside-down "V". It does this with enough force to fling itself rightside-up again (and make a clicking noise - hence, it's name)
This was treated in photoshop to try to bring out some of the details of what is essentially a black bug on a black log.
