Even though this shot violates some basic exposure rules, I wanted to capture the shadows of the heron playing against the weeds of the marsh.

Rules are meant to be broken. I think this is a beautiful image. Very different and artistic. However, I think the bird is an Egret, rather than a Heron. Very nice capture.
