Double-toothed Kite (Harpagus bidentatus) on the nest

The main prey items brought to the nest seemed to be small snakes & lizards.

This image was taken with a 500mm IS lens & stacked 1.4x & 2x converters on a Canon 1D mkII (=1400mm x a 1.3x sensor crop factor = 1820mm = 36.4x magnification).
