I can see what you mean about the rain. This one illustrates it perfectly. We have the opposite problem. the sun is blinding most days, and it is really easy to overexpose everything you do. There is no soft twilight either .... just sunset and then blackness. these things are sent to try us. Love this photo by the way. the round shapes of the birds is pleasing.
