Ben Cruachan in late autumn sun from the east shore of Loch Awe

Loch Awe, Argyll, Scotland

The combination of a setting low winter sun and extreme cold air generated an amazing afterglow which even I couldn't fail to capture .
The image shows Ben Cruachan -the hollow mountain with lovely Loch Awe in the foreground.
