Lady's slipper Orchid (Cypripedium calceolus)

This plant was grown in a shaded raised bed in a mixture of pumice/coarse gritty sand/oakwood leafmould (60%:30%:10%). It clumped up to produce a plant of 12 flowering stems before succumbing to a summer drought whilst I was on holiday!
