Glacial debris

Glenartney

Large smooth rounded boulders are strewn along the length of the Water of Ruchill in Glenartney -these were deposited by retreating glaciers which carved out the glen at the end of the last ice age.

Nice composition and detail. We see these rounded boulders in places in Australia. It must be many geological ages since there was a glacier here! A good shot. Well done.
