Bateleur immature (Terathopius ecaudatus)

Tendaba

The bizarre wing shape, very short tail & strange rocking gliding flight all look incongruous but they allow this raptor to quarter the ground very effectively. As well as catching snakes, lizards & small mammals this raptor is often the first at new carrion.
