Another weekend in central WA
Sunday morning it was lightly snowing on the east slope of the Cascades near Leavenworth.
A westbound is at the top of the grade about to head into the Cascade Tunnel. Dozers have made a mess of the snow.
Clouds drifting through the trees.
It's getting dark late Sunday as another eastbound heads down Chumstick Canyon.
The weather was great Monday morning, but there were no trains. I had to amuse myself with other subjects.
Sunlight and broken clouds.
Finally, a westbound at Trinidad siding.
The snow melt is making for lots of muddy spots.
White Pine Road was plowed, to my surprise. The deep snowbanks made for a toboggan-run feel to the road.
Turning around was fun. One fog light is pushed back into the bumper, from me shoving the bumpers into the snowbanks.
