PRR 60-very alone

PRR 60 a older 0-6-0 steam switcher, lies dormant on a siding in Hodskins DE ,she has been stripped of most of the parts i could get a look for,it is so sad :(I found out later that she is tagged as stored. And the railroad she is on owns 3 more just like her -so rebuild has potential UPDATE::This unit is rumorred to be being donated to the Renova Heritage Park by the family of her owner,She may never see steam agian but will be restored to a more fitting look due a unit of her age.

Well, where she is now, she's at least on public display, easily visible from a nearby highway, and the railroad does run occasional excursions this far. When the railroad acquired her in 1984, she had spent at least 20 years shoved under a freeway bridge near Pittsburgh, and looked far, far worse than she does now.

wonderful old steam engine.I find this so true with many of the old steam engines and such a sad thing to happen.
