This starter happened to be a unit returned for disassembly, it was used to help get gas turbines spinning at start up. Then engine is a 16 cylinder turbocharged Detroit Diesel which has since been put in a truck.
This reminds me of some of the emergency generator systems that we used to insulate when I was an Insulation Contractor in California. We used to insulate the muffler and the exhaust piping when these units were installed inside of the commercial buildings. Hot stuff!! Voted
