January 18, 2003 was one of countless Saturday's that Jeff Allgood and I spent trackside along NS throughout the Old Dominion back in the early 2000's. On this bitter cold morning we started the day with hopper train 811 arriving in Crewe behind a sweet trio of standard cab EMD's. What a way to start the day!
