Loire

The Loire region in France is famous for its great number of castles in the neighbourhood of the Loire river and dating back from its glorious period in European history.
We visited the castles of Chenonceaux, Chaumont-sur-Loire and the castle of Le Clos Lucé where the great Leonardo da Vinci spent the last years of his life.
In Beauval we visited the famous Zoo park.
