The legend is back - I own a 50 Year Old Leica M3 DS, Leica M6TTL, and now the Zeiss Ikon, A.K.A. The ZI. The ZI has most of the virtues of the M3 and M6 (M3 viewfinder, exclusive frames for 35 & 50mm--M6TTL excellent exposure meter, 35mm Frames)and none of it's vices (M3 lack of 35mm frames--M6's patch whiteout problem). The Zeiss is Nice! People who are interested in rangefinder photography can get something totally world class … for half of what it would have cost to go world class before.
Good questions below. Would you post a comment perhaps. I have a Leica M3 but prefer not to use it everyday, now. I am looking for Ikon or Bessa or maybe an M6. Would be interested in your views.
How would you say it compares to your Leica in shootabality and image quality?

I would love to know how you like your Zeiss Ikon. I recently bought a Bessa R4m and am shooting with that. I am very happy with it, but the Zeiss was a camera I considered.
