Seen the Great Creasted Flycatcher twice this week in my back yard,(live in south Venice), picking up tuffs of Jack's (our big fat orange lazy cat) fur off the ground...Has quite a loud call. Our house is only about a 1/4 mile from the Lemon Bay Preserve and a 1/2 mile from Shamrock Park...Lots of nature and wild life...It's great! We are currently working on planting more Florida native plants and wild flowers that attract butterflys and local bird.
