Photos of Lesser Black-backed Gull (Larus fuscus) taken 21 Feb 2009 at the south beach area of Tybee Island near Savannah, Georgia (USA).
Structure and plumage suggest subspecies "intermedius": darker mantle than typical L. f. graelsii, small white mirror on P9, small subterminal black spot on P4, and excessively long primary extension beyond tail.
Note immature Herring Gull with oddly barred outer primaries.
