The saddest day in my life was when they blew up the Buddha statues in the mountain. I had crawled throught the caves when I was 8 years old and stood on top of one...Now I can never go back and do that again...I love afghanistan and the people and I am a white boy from Arizona who wishes we could all get along. Afghanistan could open up and have tourists and I would be the first if I was not in danger.
