The rest of the team flew out of SF Tuesday afternoon, squeaking into Denver just before the blizzard. With the internet, I was able to keep frequent and updated tabs on the storm and the roads. I weighed taking a long route through LA to Alberqueque to Denver. I'm glad I didn't because I-25 was closed off a lot, versus I-70 over the mountains which was clear!
I went back the way I came, somewhat dawdling because of the storm back home. I went over the top on Friday, beautiful sunny and with almost perfect roads! I had no problem until I got to my house which was blocked by snow up to my knees. Shoveling wasn't so bad with the sun out and a Santiago's smothered burrito in my belly.
I took pictures of the scenery and the absurd. Yes, I take a lot of pictures while moving, no, I don't use the viewfinder! Grab 'n shoot, sometimes they come out, sometimes they don't.
