Among many wildflowers in the area, these short stemmed columbines were simply gorgeous.
That's the summit of Mt. Washinton in the background. Our truck is parked on the other side about 500' below the summit.
It's a tough hike to the grove after difficult drive to 11,000 feet....but oh so worth it!
