Not a particularly good lightning shot, but it's rare I've been able to catch a strike other than at night with the shutter locked open. This was taken with a lightning trigger, which usually comes up empty for me.
The hill on the right of the strike in sunlight is Grass Valley Bald Mt.

No smoke has shown up....yet.
