This is taken about an hour later than previous photo. Fire is about 29 miles to my SSE...the trees in the lower right foreground are 1 mile away....for perspective.

Turns out the fire is only about 1 acre, now contained by Cal Fire. Heavy fuels, extensive mop-up.
