The problem with B&W, is getting the right balance of contrast..
In the darkroom I can play with multigrade filters to get a range of blacks, whites and greys...
In digital, I find, to 'desaturate' is not enough, playing with contrast leaves one 'pondering' the processes (and also pulling out ones hair!! ;-)

As she ponders the moment, I ponder the process!!
