One weekend in July 2005 myself, Kathy, Brian, and Brad did a weekend backpacking trip through the West Canada Lakes wilderness area in the Adirondacks. I am told this area is the most remote in the Adirondack Park. We stayed at Pillsbury Lake on Friday night, then continued on to West Lake for Saturday night. We had spectacular weather, and enjoyed cool swims in 3 of the lakes that dotted our route.
