I started our last day in Cinque Terre with sunrise in the harbor. The subtle pastel colors were pretty and it was peaceful to see Vernazza without any people. After Steve and Norah woke up we grabbed pastries from the bakery and took the train to Manarola. We walked around the scenic town and Steve consulted the trail map before we continued to Riomaggiore. We returned to Manarola in the afternoon to meet Steve after his run to Porto Venere. We had a great dinner at Il Porticciolo. I had seafood crepes and a salad and Steve had zuppe di pesce, which was huge. We walked up to an overlook of Manarola for sunset. It was stunning! Of course we had to finish our evening with gelato. We rode the train back to Vernazza and went to bed happy after a great day.
