Well, we finally got our warm weather (be careful what you wish for!). Perfect time for Norah to hit the beach in her stylin' swimsuit from her great aunt (thanks Sandy!) and hang out with her pal Gretah. The sand eating, water drinking dynamic duo. :-)
Speaking of dynamic duos ... Norah absolutely adores Lucy and Linus. Lucy keeps her distance, but Linus always comes by to check Norah out. I think he's just sizing up the competition. He seems to think the playmat, toys, and boppy are his (I'm sure a good tail pull by Norah will set him straight). It's fun watching Norah squeal, get excited, and try her darnedest to grab the cats.
We've instituted a new standard operating procedure with feedings - diaper and bib only. Little Pudge seems to have the magical ability to turn one spoonful of squash into enough food to coat her entire body. I suppose this is where a dog comes in handy for cleanup. ;-)
Norah's still loving bouncing, her feet, and putting anything and everything in her mouth. We have our fingers crossed that she'll be a trooper on our trip out west in a few weeks. Can't wait!
Enjoy summer everybody!
(the last two pics are from a hike to Nuclear Lake in May, but I just now pulled them off the other camera. The last hurrah of the Norah the Explorer hat. *sniff sniff*, we will miss it!).
