Classic View of Torres del Paine

After breakfast at the refugio we started the final leg of our trek. On the way to Aubergue Chileno we were again met with some crazy wind gusts (Steve almost lost his pack cover and it nearly blew my stocking hat off my head). *phew* We were happy to reach Chileno to take a break out of the wind. The wind wasn't bad from Chileno to Campamento Torres as we were in the forest most of the time. After pitching our tent in the campground we made the final 1200 foot ascent to the lookout at the the base of the towers. This is probably the most iconic view in the park (and where the park gets its name). It certainly lived up to advance billing and we were awed by the towers.

Just magnificent.
I know it's not easy to have a clear weather like this.
