This eyelash viper was wrapped around a stick by one of the streams we crossed and had been there for several days (digesting I think?). Although venomous, the eyelash viper isn't really dangerous because it's not agressive. And it also has the courtesy to be brightly colored so you don't accidently step on it. Prior to this viper, we saw a boa constrictor in a banana tree.
