On our fifth day we did a canyoneering trip in Lomatium Canyon with Desert Highlights -- my favorite part of our trip. Lomatium Canyon is in Fiery Furnace in Arches, a protected area that requires a permit. The first part of our trip involved some hiking and basic rock scrambling to get to the top of the Fiery Furnace area, pictured here.
