Dogs were a common theme throughout our trip. Although Norah is a cat lover, she still enjoyed meeting dogs on our trip. I have read some accounts of people encountering unfriendly dogs or packs of dogs, but we luckily never had this experience. Norah even insisted on visiting several grocery stores when we returned to Huaraz so she could buy dog biscuits to take with us on the Huayhuash Circuit.
