After Private Arch we had several fins to hike up and over. Going up was not a problem, but we did encounter a really tricky section of slickrock while descending a fin. The combination of sand on the rock and our treads packed with wet sand/dirt made the slickrock especially slick. There was a narrow spot to traverse with a large drop off and no hand holds. Dicey, but we made it. We caught up to some other hikers and we all agreed it was a little scary. The only other obstacle was a huge puddle/pothole that was too difficult to climb around. Off came the shoes and socks and boy, was it cold!
