We had a short climb to the ridge above Seneca Lake and we heard rumbling. We hurried down to a flat spot in the forest on the other side and Steve pitched a small tarp to shelter us from the rain. Very handy and effective! The storm was brief and we were back on the trail quickly. Luckily, there would be no more rain the rest of the day.
