We stopped at a small pond for a quick break. From there most people continue down to Island Lake, but we took a more northerly course for Lake 10,794. There are so many lakes in the Wind River Range and many don't have names; they are known just by their elevation. This one sits at the base of Elephant Head. We walked around the western shoreline to the inlet.
