On our third day we moved our camp to Deep Lake. This was a leisurely day as the hike was no more than 2.5 miles with 700 feet elevation gain (most of it coming on the final climb to Deep Lake). We followed the trail along the eastern shore of Big Sandy Lake and picked up the trail to Clear Lake.
