There's a large flat area and a composting toilet at the junction with the Tonto Trail (4.4 miles and 3250 feet below the rim); good spot for a break! We watched the ground squirrels scamper around looking for crumbs. When we were getting ready to leave this fellow crawled into the yucca plants - perfect photo op!
