I wasn't sure I wanted to get up for so early for sunrise (I know, I know - I'm in the Grand Canyon, I have to suck it up, right?). But after waking early and not being able to go back to sleep, I grabbed my camera and went to Mather Point. I was the first one there and good thing, because not long after I was there several tour buses showed up and the lookout was flooded with people. It didn't matter much as photographically, it wasn't a stellar sunrise. But it was still neat to watch the sun rise and the canyon transform under the changing light.
