Weavers Needle

Weavers Needle, at 4553 feet elevation, is a distinctive peak made from eroded tuff (fused volcanic ash). It's the most prominent landmark in the Superstitions and features significantly in the stories of the Lost Dutchman's Gold Mine. Supposedly a rich vein of gold lies in its shadow and many treasure seekers have tried their luck at locating the gold.
