It was still overcast so after Canyon Lake we paid a visit to the Goldfield ghost town, just down the road from our campground. While the original town dates back to the 1890's, the current Goldfield is actually at the site of the old mine and was reconstructed/built to look authentic. Despite being a major tourist trap, it was kind of fun to wander around the main street as everything was in character.
