When we woke Sunday morning the skies didn't look any more promising. We weren't eager to hike in another rainstorm so set off to look for some alternate activities. We drove to Canyon Lake, about 10 miles from the campground. I'm sure this area is a zoo in the summer time, but it was pretty much just us and the ducks when we stopped to walk around the lake.
